Campbelltown Anglican Churches uses Elvanto for Rostering
Why do we use a rostering system? Given the blessing of being a growing church with a number of congregations, we are regularly looking for ways to simplify and automate as much of the rostering as possible across the Parish. Our Elvanto system provides tools to help us but they aren’t always as people-friendly as we might like. So, thanks for your patience as we iron out any bugs and issues in the process.
When do we create rosters? Our general rostering timetable involves creating a new roster that covers from the 2nd Sunday of a school term through to the first Sunday after the next school holidays end. This means we effectively roster a quarter of the year at a time, give or take a few weeks. In order to give you a chance to notify us of any unavailability, we’ll send a reminder email out to everyone who serves about 1-2 weeks before the roster is actually published. However, you don’t need to wait for the reminder, you can simply enter any periods you are not available at anytime using the elvanto app, or visiting the website link below providing it is before the roster is published!
What if I forgot to enter a period where I am unavailable? Don’t worry, you can still organise a swap within Elvanto at any time with other members of your service team.
