At the heart of Campbelltown

For 200 years we’ve been a comforting presence at the centre of life in Campbelltown. But we’re just getting started and we’d love you to be part of our future…

Different times, different buildings, different styles, but Jesus is at the centre of it all at St Peter’s

What to expect at our services:

Before the Service

You’ll receive a warm welcome at the door and you’ll be given everything you need to navigate the church service you’ve come along to. If it is your first visit, you’ll also receive one of our special Welcome Packs.

During the Service

While each of our services has a slightly different style, they all share the same key elements. At each service we hear the bible read, we sing together with musicians to guide us, we listen as someone leads us in prayer to God bringing our requests and praise to him, and we hear someone explain why God’s Word in the Bible is relevant for us this very day.

After the Service

The end of our formal church services just means the beginning of our informal catch up and hang out time! At each of our services, there’s an opportunity to stay around and chat to people, to enjoy a cuppa and something tasty to eat, and a chance to meet new people and reflect on the things we’ve heard that day.

Every Sunday at 8am

St. Peters Anglican Church

Heritage Building

12 Cordeaux St, Campbelltown

Our 8am Service is often described as a traditional Prayer Book service; that means that we follow the Anglican Prayer book as an order of service including readings from the Bible and prayers based on the Bible. The service includes sharing in bread and wine to remember the benefits of the death and resurrection of Jesus; this is known as the Lord’s Supper and the music is often played on the church organ.

Every Sunday at 10am

St. Peters Anglican Grammar School Hall

Carpark via 5 Howe St, Campbelltown

Our 10am contemporary service is for adults of all ages, kids and youth. There’ll be a band with singers to lead the music and the screens will have everything you need to follow along in the other parts of the church gathering.

Kids can stay in the service or leave with their peers for age appropriate teaching during the service.

Parking is available onsite along the side of the historic church building (off Cordeaux Street) and in the car park located at the back of the site near the St Peter’s Anglican School (on the corner of Brown and Howe Streets). Additional public parking is located near the Bowling Club on Brown Street and in the RSL Carpark off Cordeaux St diagonally opposite the church building.

Our Sunday church gatherings usually run for 1 hour and 15 minutes, followed by a cuppa together. We try hard to start and finish on time so you can plan your day well! Our Wednesday gatherings are shorter and usually conclude in under an hour, though many stay for a sit down morning tea afterwards.

Wear whatever you normally wear as you live your life in Campbelltown! Most people dress comfortably and casually. A few people dress more formally and that’s perfectly fine too. So, it’s much the same as what you’d see at the Campbelltown Mall or Macarthur Square.

There is no expectation of our visitors to do anything! You don’t even have to sing with the crowd if you don’t want to. It is the privilege and pleasure of our members to make church happen – so come along and check us out with no fear of having to do something.

Our 10am service has a large kids program providing age appropriate content to all the ages and stages. We have well trained leaders who know who to teach at the level your child is at. When you arrive, just ask for the Kids Welcome Pack which includes everything you need.

Our church is full of people who would never describe themselves as religious! Many of our members started out just visiting churches and looking to find out more about what Jesus offers. So, you’ll fit right in!
